FTV Receiver
Tracker revolutionized the search for ELT, EPRIB, Mini/B and PLB transmitters by search and rescue crews, Civilian Air Patrol and military personnel with the first pocket sized portable receiver.

Using the FTV 468 receiver, you can track emergency transmitters on the 121.5 and 243.0 MHz emergency frequencies plus a range of practice frequencies. The FTV 468CM is particularly useful for locating ELTs at shared military and civilian airports.

Marine Channel 16 Receiver
Tracker’s Marine Channel 16 hand held receiver is designed to listen to, and track, voice and distress signal transmissions. It is the most sophisticated voice and direction finding (DF) unit available today. The Marine Channel 16 features a fully synthesized FM receiver with EEPROM memory. For SOS signals, it can DF on the voice signal or open mike.

The Marine Channel 16 is capable of monitoring and direction finding the 40 marine channels. Using the head phone jack the receiver can also record transmissions.

Saver Transmitter
The Saver transmitter is small in size, lightweight, yet powerful and is
ideally suited for tracking people. It comes with a belt holster attachment, charger, and an activation pin. The transmitter features a rechargeable battery that will operate for 5 to 10 days before recharging is required. The transmitter is detectible from 5 to 12 miles line-of sight. The front of the transmitter features 2 LEDs that provide information on the health of the battery and whether the transmitter is operating.

Hikers report the frequency of their Saver transmitter when getting a trail permit, or logging in at the trailhead. If that person doesn’t return on the anticipated day Search and Rescue personnel can scan the mountain for that frequency using Tracker receivers. Once a general area has been identified as the area transmitting the signal, rescue workers can be dropped on the ground and continue to hone in on the exact location using telemetry tracking skills.

Made to hold up in rough field conditions, the Classic casing is milled from a solid aluminum bar, and antenna elements are virtually unbreakable.

The Tracker system rates at 12 miles line of site; 4-7 miles in rolling hills and 2.5 - 4 miles in mountainous areas. However there are numerous factors that can effect this range, such as: ground cover; moisture; transmitter strength, and receiver antenna being used.
